Washington State Building Code

The Washington State Building Code is comprised of several different codes. Most are national model codes adopted by reference and amended at the state level. Others, such as the Washington State Energy Code, are state-written state-specific codes.

Only the state amendments and state-written codes are available on this website for viewing and download. For information on purchasing the base model codes or hard copies of the state amendments, see the Ordering Information page.
