Bios

To create a Bio, perform the following steps:

  1. From the admin toolbar, hover over Content > Add Content > click Bios.
  2. Fill out the first and last name of the person whose bio you are creating.
  3. Select the person’s Position Title from the list of checkboxes.
  4. Enter a Council Member Title if appropriate.
  5. Enter a Term Expiration date.
  6. If the person represents an organization, enter that in the Representing field.
  7. Enter a Phone, Fax and Email.
  8. The Bio field is used for the person's biography. Use the Content Editor to edit the content as needed.
  9. Under Image, Add Existing Media or Add New Media if you'd like to upload a photo to be attached to the bio.
  10. Add an Address in the address field set.
  11. From the Council dropdown select the type of Council Member.
  12. Right above the Save button at the bottom of the page is a Published check box. Click it prior to saving if you want the bio published.
  13. Once the page is the way you want it, go to the bottom of the page and click Save.
